The Adidas Samba is an indoor soccer trainingshoe. It has been among Adidas' most popular, bestselling shoes in recent times, the second bestsold Adidas shoe ever with over 35 million soldpairs worldwide, behind the Adidas Stan Smith. Itis produced in a variety of color schemes, yet theclassic black with three white stripes is the mostpopular. The shoe features a tan gumsole thatdistinguishes it from other Adidas shoes.The shoe was first produced in 1950 to enableassociation football players to train on icy hardground (hence the suction on the gumsole).
